Transcom Digital Presents KUFA Futsal League Pro Season 1 Concludes with Grand Prize-Giving Ceremony
The curtain fell on the Transcom Digital Presents KUFA Futsal League Pro Season 1 with a vibrant prize-giving ceremony, marking the successful conclusion of one of Bangladesh’s most ambitious underground futsal tournaments to date. Co-organised by Traliventa and endorsed by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), the six-day competition showcased grassroots talent, competitive spirit, and a growing youth sports culture.
Organised by the Kinetic Underground Federation of Athletics (KUFA), the league brought together 12 teams across 73 matches, creating a rare platform for aspiring futsal players to compete in a structured, modern environment. Beyond trophies and prize money, the tournament highlighted teamwork, dedication, and the importance of nurturing young athletes in Bangladesh.
Chief Guest Highlights Youth Football Development
The chief guest of the evening, Fahad Karim, Vice President of the Bangladesh Football Federation, praised KUFA’s initiative and stressed the importance of consistent match exposure for young players.
“This is truly fascinating because in Bangladesh, typically, because of limited resources, we don’t tend to linger the leagues. But without a minimum number of matches, a league is never very competitive,” he said.
He added that organising over 50 matches at this level was encouraging and thanked KUFA for taking the initiative, urging continued support to further develop youth football across the country.
Player Awards and Individual Recognition
Outstanding performers from the tournament received individual honours:
Man of the Match (Final): Munshi Sazzadul Islam Shohan, Shyamoli FC (awarded a crest and gift voucher from Hunkar)
Best Goalkeeper: Arafatul Hasnat Emon, Shyamoli FC
Top Scorer: Sakib Al Hasan, Shyamoli FC
Most Valuable Player (MVP): Mohammad Saif Hoassain, Shyamoli FC
Each award winner received BDT 5,000 in recognition of their achievements.
Champions Crowned as Shyamoli FC Lifts the Trophy
The runners-up, Dhaka Athletic, received their medals and BDT 20,000 prize from the chief guest, earning applause for their competitive run.
However, the spotlight belonged to Shyamoli FC, who emerged as champions of KUFA Futsal League Pro Season 1. The team lifted the trophy on stage and received BDT 40,000 along with Hunkar boots, celebrating their victory amid cheers from supporters.
The moment symbolised the culmination of weeks of preparation and intense match play, underscoring the rising standard of futsal competition in Bangladesh.
Building a Modern Platform for Youth Sports
The ceremony opened with a welcome address from the organisers, who reiterated KUFA’s mission to establish a data-driven and inclusive sports ecosystem inspired by global football standards.
“We believe that every athlete, regardless of background, deserves a platform to showcase their talent. KUFA is that platform—this is where athletes rise,” the organisers said.
Special acknowledgement was given to Ali Mohammad Hafiz, National Director of the World Sports Alliance and member of the BFF Futsal Committee, whose guidance and leadership played a key role in executing the tournament successfully. Appreciation was also extended to KUFA Founder & CEO Tawsif Shreyas, Co-Founder & COO Shafin Mohammad Zidan, and Head of Event Management Monjurul Islam Shourov for steering the event from planning to completion.
